Why does it seem difficult to get some Webmasters to do updates?  Part of the short answer in some cases may be because of the tools they are using.  All tools have their strengths and limitations.  See our 'How' page for an explanation of the tools AAAWWW is using.  Also, in these days when so many with so little training become 'Webmasters' after a short course; or perhaps after they put up their own first 'freeby' site - and did a few for their friends, sadly, they may not know how to do it properly.  Some are using tools they purchased without real understanding of all the issues.  Some are simply copying and pasting html code written by others (because it looks 'kewl') with little or no understanding of how it works. So when it breaks, of if it needs modification, they can't do it because they don't know how it works.  I hope this is the minority, but be careful if you are shopping for web services.  Always ask to see qualifications and credentials.                         LRF
