Rose and Edwin attended the Afghan Hound Club of America National Specialty Show in Houston, TX.
This was Rose's first National, and Edwin's second. Edwin was not entered in Junior Handling this time. He handled 'Major', Hosanna Man of War (Moses' son) in the Sweepstakes 12-15 month puppy class, and did a VERY nice job, winning 3rd place.
Unfortunately, my camera did not behave itself, so these are not the best photos. If anyone else got better photos of our children at this National Specialty (or any other show), we would be everlastingly grateful if they would share them with us. |

Rose handled 'Precious' - Hosanna Precious Gift, and won the Novice Junior class, and also placed 4th in the American Bred Bitch Class with her. Precious is a sister of Joshua, the dog she usually handles in Juniors. Junior Handling was judged by Mrs. Sandy L. Weinraub (Sanalla), & Bitches were judged by Mrs. Betsy Hufnagel (Cavu).

Edwin attended his first National Specialty in 2000, in Jacksonville, Florida. He handled Samson and was 1st place Novice Junior. He also handled Hosanna Amazing Grace in the American Bred class, getting 4th place. Again, I did not manage to get photos of my own, and am very grateful to Karen Shaver for sharing this photo of Ed and Grace with us.
