(CONTINUED from) I could pick him up in the morning. During the night he hemorrhaged from his lungs and he died. There was no known history of bleeding problems either with him or dogs in his pedigree. Moses had never had any other health problems. He was given Rhompun and Ketaset for anesthesia.
I want to thank everyone who helped and encouraged us with Moses. Some of his points were from BBE, but Jan Swayze handled him to some of his wins, and Cherie Budka won BOB with him at Knoxville last year. Others have helped us at times with training tips, grooming, and other things. We appreciate all those people. We are heartbroken,

Ketaset is a brand name of ketamine. Here is some info: Ketamine is commonly sold with Ecstasy to teenagers as a recreational drug. It's street name is "Special K." It is considered to be physically very dangerous. Among other things, Ketamine is well known to cause hemorrhaging and seizures in kids who take it for fun. If you do a search on Google, you'll find all kinds of information from scientific sources linking Ketamine to seizures, hemorrhaging and other side effects in animals.

6/9/01 Edwin Farley won THEIR first all breed Best In Match (Adult) with Moses at Shenandoah Valley KC Match. There were over 100 Adult entries!

Since now we've lost Moses, his' son Major, Hosanna Man Of War, will have to grow up quickly and fill his daddy's big shoes. He will be Edwin's Junior Handling dog now.
