For those who are interested in these sort of details, here are a few notes. This is our first litter which is not only line bred on our first dog (Alf), but also on ALL THREE of our foundation bitches, Cassie, Hannah, and Tasha. (SEE THEM ALL HERE). Essentially, this is (with a little addition of outcross blood) the combination that produced Ruby, Ch Hosanna Price Above Rubies. For those who don't believe that a line breeding in the 'back' of a pedigree has much effect, I invite you to study our second litter - the sire & dam, that pedigree, and what came of that HERE. Because Cassie AND Hannah both had moms who were granddaughters of CH Bombey's Desert Wanderer, and we have line bred on BOTH of them here, there are 8 crosses (and line breeding - 4 on each side) to him here. And, because both Hannah and Tasha go back to Ch Persia's Sandrift, there are 5 (line bred - 3 on sire's side, 2 on dam's side) crosses to him. Also, Tasha is our only one that goes back to any Kabik blood. Clardon’s Hagira Sand Star was sired by CH Kabik's The Challenger ('Pepsi'), giving us a back pedigree line breeding (only two crosses - one on each side) on him.
