Ruby earned Junior Courser title (JC) on 11/18/05 & finished her Championship on April 21, 2005, at Terre Haute, IN (3 point major). Reserve Winner that day was her sister, Kitty! Ruby was WB-2 points at Indianapolis, IN 2/13/05, Judge Mr. Steven Hubbell. She won Best of Breed 5/30/04 at Corydon, IN for 2 points, Judge Mr. James White BOB PHOTO Click HERE .
She also won points at Anniston KC and Cahaba Valley KC in Montgomery, AL, 4/23 & 4/25/04. The judges were Dr. Gareth Morgan Jones, and Mrs. Houston (Toddie) Clark. Ruby defeated 15 dogs for her BOW, and was BOS too, at Fargo Moorehead Kennel Club in N. Dakota, to win a 5 point Major! The judge was Mr. Donald I. Sandburg. CLICK to see Fargo PHOTO
In addition, she won her first point at Mid Kentucky Kennel Club in May, defeating adult major pointed competition. The judge was Linda Scanlon.
She was WB at Clarksville KC and Lexington KC in spring, 2003. We are VERY proud of her!

We are not sure when or if we will have the resources to continue to show Ruby or any of our dogs, but we will continue to do the best we are able. Our family (4 children at home - see them all here) has made extreme sacrifices for years to be able to do what we've done with our dogs so far. The people mentioned below have contributed greatly to financially devastating our family, but we have managed to survive with lots of help from the Lord. All of these statements are TRUE

Ruby's (and this litter's) sire, Moses, was the brother of Hosanna Song of Mercy (click link, scroll down to see photo & MOVIE) AKA 'Sheba'. Mercy was the 'pick' girl of that litter, and is now 'owned' by (name withheld by request) (a Samoyed breeder), of Mt. Vernon, IN. In 1997 'name withheld' promised to finish Mercy's Championship. Thanks to her, and an ex Junior handler and her parents, our family has suffered extreme financial losses (in an amount equal to our total annual family income), and our children almost lost their home. Unless there is some divine intervention, we will be paying these bills until my husband is 90 and I am 80 years old. The ex Junior and her family are very prominent in a huge Catholic church in Newburg, IN

We did not have legal protection, and never dreamed that allowing a Jr. Handler from a wonderful family to co-own our show dog could end up costing our family more than $18,000. Our family may never recover financially, and now we are unable to provide our own children with the advantages we had hoped to. We have legal insurance now, but it is too late for us. And we have these gorgeous puppies, and can hardly afford to get them into the ring. Please don't make the mistake we made. For a couple of years she was co-owned with Celinda McCormick of Dreamsweep Kennels. Due to some serious life changes on Celinda's part, she's been returned to us at Hosanna, in July 2004. In near naked condition, she was Reserve Winner to two 3 point majors, at Greenville, MS, Jan. 22 and 23, 2005, handled by Rose Farley. Judges were Mrs. Patricia Trotter, and Mrs. Michelle Billings. Kitty LOVES being a show girl! Look for her in the rings when we can get her back into coat. May 21, 2005, Kitty was Reserve Winner of another 3 point major, the day her sister, Ruby, finished her CH. Her coat is coming in nicely now. In January, 2006, we allowed her to go to KOREA We hope she'll have a wonderful career there.
